CR-Z Hybrid R

I'm always wining about hybrids and eco engines, but this is over now. Hold your breath, it's Honda CR-Z Hybrid R concept, which was revealed on Sema Show few days ago. I must admit I'm falling in love! It's powered by turbocharged hybrid engine which produces 200hp. Honda R story continues.

If you're still skeptical about hybrid little CR-Z hatch, SEMA show 2010 should change your mind.

VTEC power

It just kicks in, yo! Remember - it's not V-TEC, it's not V-Tech and it definitely isn't VTEK. Four letters, no spacing in between, just VTEC.

End of Honda Type R FD2

Rumors came true. Honda Motors Company announced end of manufacturing one of the best FWD NA cars on the planet, Civic FD2 Type R. Low mileage and high gasoline prices are claiming their tax in car industry and CTR is reaching it’s end after 13 years and 3 generations of Civic.

Production will end by the end of this summer, for now it will only effect Japanese FD2, while European FN2 will remain in production. With ending of NSX, Integra, S2000 and JDM CTR, Euro CTR remains the only sporty Honda from Type R class.

New FN2 Mugen Civic Type R coming to U.K. market

Rumors say good stuff is coming in U.K., Mugen version of new Honda Civic Type R FN2.
Very good news for all Civic Type R enthusiasts. They are mostly disappointed with current CTR FN2 for EU market. Bad stability caused by bad rear suspension setup. For saving production costs, Honda decided to install torsion bar for it's OEM FN2, it turned out to be a big mistake... JDM Civic Type R FD2 is better in every way., not to even mention it's Mugen version FD2R.
Looks like Honda bosses are starting to worry for Europeans, so U.K will get FN2 tuned by Mugen Japan. Engine will probably be the same as in JDM Civic Mugen RR with 240 bhp.
Now the bad news: Mugen will only make 100 pieces of FN2 and the price about £40000 is not cheap at all.
Mugen always does the best job with Honda, we can aspect interior with hot carbon fiber accessories, brutal exterior and improved performance in every way, but all the secrets will be revealed in the next couple of months, stay tuned for more news.

JDM Civic Type R vs EUDM Civic Type R

JDM vs EUDM Civic Type R...
It's always the same. Cars for Japan market are way better and better tuned than pussy wagons for Europe market. Honda FD2R is just one of the Japan cars that doesn't come to Europe very easily, we only get our soft version of it: FN2.
Just like Europeans don't get Honda EK9, NSX-R, Nissan Silvia etc...
